Wake up gently and naturally to the beautiful sounds of a gradually increasing Tibetan bell-like chime. When the clock's alarm is triggered, the acoustic chime strikes just once, reverberating for nearly a minute. It strikes again 3-1/2 minutes later. Strikes become more frequent over 10 minutes, eventually occurring every 5 seconds until shut off. As they become more frequent, the gentle chimes will always wake you up — your body really doesn't need to be awakened harshly, with a Zen Clock you're awakened more gradually and thus more naturally.
Zen Alarm Clocks are available in five wood finish options. Each wood finish is available in a variety of dial face choices. Zen Clocks are made with a Japanese quartz movement and measure 8" high x 11" wide x 3" deep. They run on 4 "C" batteries (not included). Average battery life with everyday use is about 2 years. Each Zen Clock's 'E tone' chime has been hand-tuned to produce the same tone as the tuning forks used by musical therapists. Zen Clocks come with a 40 page booklet detailing their many uses and their harmonic design.
